Hike at Calvert Cliffs Red & Orange Loop

Join Georgetown Explorers for a day hike at Calvert Cliffs State Park on Saturday, April 26. We'll be doing the Red and Orange Loop, a 5 mile easy, flat trail through the park with a stop at the beach for lunch and fossil hunting.

Carpools will depart from Georgetown at 9AM, with drivers picking up riders at designated locations starting at 8:30AM. We'll arrive at the park around 10-30AM and hit the trail by 11AM. After the hike and a beach lunch, we'll head back around 3PM and be home by approximately 5PM.

Sandwiches will be provided for lunch. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions. Bring about 2 liters of water, sunscreen, sturdy shoes or hiking boots, and bug spray.

Georgetown Explorers will cover gas for all drivers. After the hike, all cars will stop at the same gas station and we'll pay with the Georgetown expense card.

To sign up, use the Google Sheet linked in the group chat. Drivers, add your name, number of seats, and pickup address. If you need a ride, add your name and neighborhood and we'll match you with a nearby driver.
