Below are the action items and the guidelines for participating in the Trek. Missing even a single action item will result in disqualification from the Trek, and violating a single guideline may result in blacklisting from GCC and its resources.

Guidelines for the Consulting Trek:
- Dress code is full business professional.
- Participants cannot choose firms or visit dates. Our team will assign firms and office visit dates. Participants can submit their firm preference, which will be considered, but assignments must be equitable for all and therefore not guaranteed.
- Participants must visit their assigned firm at the designated time on the assigned date.
- Participants must not visit any firm to which they are not assigned.
- Participants must remain available for the entire Trek week (Oct 20–24), as visits may be scheduled on nonconsecutive days.
- Participants are advised to be courteous to the Consultants at the firms, Trek organizing team and other participants.
- Attention hogging is seen as non-courteous and unprofessional by the firms and will only harm the individual’s chances of recruitment.
- Consulting Trek is an opportunity to experience what makes each firm unique. It is not a recruitment event.
- Participants are advised to reach the venue at least 15min before the designated time. If late, entry will not be granted to the office, and it will be considered the same as a no-show.
- No-shows, late arrivals, unauthorized visits and uncourteous conduct are not permitted and will result in blacklisting from GCC and its resources.
- Serious reasons (including but not limited to medical emergencies, family emergencies or conflicting recruitment events such as Prospanica) may (or may not) be considered by the Trek organizing team while assigning firms if the participant sends an explanation email to the Trek Team (undersigned) before 11:59pm on Oct 6, along with some proof. No proof = no consideration. However, we do not guarantee anything. Non-serious reasons (including but not limited to visiting friends/family, holiday trips, etc.) will NOT be considered at all.
