Consulting Trek 2024 is live!
Dear GCC Members,
As you may have heard, the 2024 GCC Consulting Trek is coming up later this month, and the event is now live! Registration will close at 11 PM on Sunday, October 13th. As a reminder, the purpose of the Consulting Trek is to provide you with the opportunity to meet consulting practitioners in their offices and see first-hand how these firms differ from one another. Companies will be giving presentations, conducting breakout sessions, and hosting networking events for 2-4 hours.
The purpose of the trek is NOT to walk out of their office with an internship offer. This is a networking and learning opportunity, not a recruitment event.
As part of the registration process, you must fill out the firm preference form which will be send out on Saturday, October 12th. Filling out this form is MANDATORY; if you do not complete it, you cannot participate in the Consulting Trek. You will have until Tuesday, October 15th EOD, to fill it out. After that, we will close the submission and begin assigning firms. Your visits will be assigned based on your preferences, but due to capacity constraints, not everyone will receive their top choices.
In addition, there will also be a mandatory prep session on Friday, October 18th, at 3:00 PM.
