Thomas J. Vilsack, former United States Secretary of Agriculture and Governor of Iowa, serves as Chief Executive Officer of the World Food Prize Foundation in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, Governor Vilsack’s focus is on expanding the Foundation’s global network, and positioning the Foundation as a leader in addressing global food and nutrition insecurity, continuing his lifetime of public service. In addition to his role as CEO, Governor Vilsack also serves as an adjunct instructor at Colorado State University, teaching students about small to mid-sized farming opportunities.
