Are you ready to make an impact and live out Georgetown’s “People for Others” values?
Join the Junior Achievement 3DE Case Competition and help inspire the next generation of business leaders!  Volunteer to help bring in 100 high schoolers from Surrattsville High School for a case competition hosted by 3DE and Prince George's County Public Schools! We’re welcoming high school students to campus for a day of learning, collaboration, and competition and we need MBA volunteers to make it happen.

What is 3DE?
3DE's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Their vision was to create a high school model to break through traditional barriers and design the framework of education from inside out. Learn more about them on their website: https://www.3deschools.org/

Description of volunteer roles:
  • Campus Tour Guide (8 volunteers needed): Lead a brief tour of the Hariri Building / Georgetown campus area, escorting students to lunch. Flexible one-hour shifts; ideally, two guides per shift.
  • Competition Judge (3 volunteers needed): Serve on the case competition panel and apply your MBA insights to evaluate student presentations alongside PGCPS judges. No prior experience required. We’ll open 5 spots to include 2 backup judges—even if you’re not judging, you’re welcome to observe and support.
    - Preparation needed: Review the case and rubric and watch a 15-minute prep video (about 45min total prep). We will send this information to you.
  • Set-Up & Clean-Up Support (4 volunteers needed):  Assist with event logistics, including arranging chairs, coordinating lunch setup, and end-of-day clean-up.
  • You can sign up for more than one role depending on the time of the shift!
