Mission
The Adam Smith Society is an MBA community of current students and alumni, who believes that business, entrepreneurship, and commerce are wellsprings of a prosperous and free society. Our members are dedicated to exploring the links between economic development, government policy, and social movements, through both rigorous debate and thoughtful discussion. The national organization sponsors a series of lectures, case competitions, and treks, which give MBA students access to current business leaders, published academics, members of the press, and policymakers. We hope to inspire the future generation of business leaders to think about their own responsibility in improving the world's free market system to promote human flourishing.

Welcome to Georgetown McDonough School of Business's Business and Government Alliance (BGA). Our mission is to facilitate students' awareness of the opportunities that exist between the public and private spaces, and to support those individuals as they seek professional opportunities. This is a large sector, encompassing everything from government relations, contractor positions, internal agency functions, or federal consulting. The recruiting process for this sector is somewhat unique and we will provide insights and opportunities to network for interested students. BGA hosts events including panels, round table discussions, and off site visits, as well as creating a community of current students and alumni in the sector.

Ever wondered what design thinking is? We are happy to share that we have launched a new club titled Design Experience Innovate! DXI strives to foster a cross collaborative community for both the left-and right-brain thinkers. We hope to inspire those whose interests lie at the intersection of business and creativity to use innovative approaches to solve complex business challenges.

Members will learn how to harness the skills necessary to navigate ambiguity and apply human-centered design thinking to enhance the user experience.We believe that these skills will add value to MSB students during their time on campus and post MBA.

We believe that knowledge of human-centered design and the related tools that enable cross-functional problem-solving will add value to students interested in numerous industries and functions.

DXI will challenge students to use their unique experiences and translate them into skills and practices used by many MBAs for their internships, case competitions, core classes, and student clubs.

We’re a community of MSB foodies (and their significant others) who love sharing great food and good company! Throughout the year, we host casual events like DC restaurant visits, happy hours, cooking classes, food festivals, and more. No cooking skills required—just an interest in connecting over food with the Hoya community.

Membership Benefits
Membership includes two to three events each semester, such as DC restaurant visits, happy hours, and cooking activities like classes, festivals, or markets. Annual dues are $50 and cover most event-related costs.

Georgetown Partners and Families is a social and professional networking organization for the spouses, significant others, and families of graduate students at MSB. Our mission is to ensure Partners are included in the MBA experience and provide a support system for those going through many similar life changes. Partners have busy schedules, so we are mindful of everyone's time and plan social events that are fun and relaxing, as well as professional events that are efficient and targeted. Georgetown is committed to Cura Personalis – partners and families should not be a separate part of students' lives but integrated into the whole person. Georgetown Partners and Families is here to help make that happen.

Mission
The Hoyas Playing Tennis club is a social tennis club, bringing together everyone who has a love for the sport. Our members range from beginners completely new to tennis, to advanced tennis players who have played the sport for years. We aim to build cross-cohort relationships within the Georgetown University graduate school community and with alumni. We host casual tennis round robin events, lessons, social, and other volunteer events.
