What is Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA)?
ETA is a strategy where entrepreneurs, called searchers, acquire existing businesses instead of starting from scratch. They raise capital from investors, search for suitable businesses, negotiate acquisitions, and then manage and grow these businesses. ETA offers lower risk, immediate cash flow, and existing infrastructure, making it an attractive option for MBAs and mid-career professionals. Georgetown's ETA Club serves to educate, prepare, and facilitate networking opportunities for Hoyas intersted in becoming Acquisition Entrepreneurs. Intrested? Please reach out, I'd love to connect!
