KEGS: Identity Stories
Registration
Registration is now closed (this event already took place).
Details
At this special event, we'll come together to share, listen, and learn from the personal journeys, experiences, and narratives of LGBTQ individuals. It's an opportunity to connect, be inspired, and foster a sense of community.
Our lineup of storytellers includes a diverse range of voices from various backgrounds and experiences. They will share their stories of resilience, love, self-discovery, and triumph, creating an evening filled with good food, drinks, laughter, tears, and most importantly, understanding.
Additionally, you will have a chance to enjoy an exceptional performance by local drag performer Cake Pop. A magical drag goddess originally from Chicago, she now lives in Washington DC, performing all across the DMV and taking the scene by storm, even recently being crowned DC's Best Drag Queen by the Washington Blade. Her rhythm and style are bound to delight and dazzle you!
Whether you identify as LGBTQ, are an ally, or have a passion for storytelling and inclusivity, this event is open to all Georgetown MBA students who believe in the power of sharing stories to build bridges and promote acceptance.
A Few Things to Remember: We ask that you please be respectful to our speakers, and keep in mind that getting up there takes courage! Do not record videos of speakers and please be on time. Don't forget to bring some singles to tip our Queen!
