Details
3DE by Junior Achievement brings real world connectivity into the daily high school academic experience to create a highly engaging and relevant learning environment. The 3DE instructional model is grounded in competency-based case methodology. Students develop critical skills through authentic discussion-centric challenges that promote interdisciplinary connections and increase student engagement. Interdisciplinary learning is activated through faculty and student cohorts that use real-world business case studies, provided by local and national businesses, to link standards-based learning and practical project-based application. 3DE students engage in 16 case studies from 9th-11th grade that are supported by volunteer business professionals, in addition to a capstone senior consultancy experience in the 12th grade.
Case Challenge
9th grade students at Surrattsville High School were asked: "Which organization should Aon collaborate with to build its talent pipeline?"
Role Description
Students will be presenting their case analysis and recommendations before a panel of Judges. There will be a total of 5 Judges: 3 from Aon and 2 from McDonough (MBAs). You will be provided a rubric to assess their presentations. After each case presentation, you may ask questions and give feedback. At the end of all the presentations, you will need to decide the winning team with the other Judges.
