We often host lectures where experts in the business of wine can teach students the ins and outs of the industry. Our members have attended talks on topics including the impacts of global tariffs on wine, the career paths and stories of experts in the industry, and case studies and strategies of organizations that brought their international wine businesses to the U.S.
Our members frequently attend guided wine tastings on or off campus. Tasting events are formal or informal, and in the past, we have partnered with vineyards, including Opus One and Château d'Esclans, as well as wine institutions in DC, such as The Urban Grape and St. Vincent Wine.
